
Ryan J. Gonzalez, CEO
Ryan Gonzalez brings several years in leadership and management experience to RCYT. He has either founded or contracted with several successful companies in a wide variety of industries. He is highly experienced in engineering, roofing, and construction development, as well as in maritime operations and security. Mr. Gonzalez’s professional experiences include outside contracting with Isaacs Roofing Corp, U.S. South Engineering, and Ocean Blue Contractors. He also is founder of S.S.I. Maritime Security and Investigation, a firm that assesses and plans for emergency situations or vulnerablilites. This includes creating structured programs with training manuals and courses for any type of organization including company personal, contractors, students or anyone involved with the security of either a vessel, facility, special event and some of Florida's largest shipping terminals and industrial properties.

Hervin Romney
Lead Architect and Design Consultant
Hervin Romney is a pioneer in environmental architecture and design. Romney began his architecture studies at Villanueva, in Havana, Cuba. He attended Cooper Union in New York, concurrently working for Harrison and Abramovitz on projects such as the US Steel Building in Pittsburgh; the Exxon, McGraw-Hill, and Celanese towers in Manhattan; and several Brandeis University buildings, among others. He then received his Bachelor in Architecture degree from Catholic University.
Mr. Romney lived for two years in Paris, working for Andrault-Parat and other similar projects and winning first prize for the 1969 European Housing Competition. He obtained a Master of Environmental Design degree from the Yale School of Architecture, where he served as teaching assistant to Charles Moore, Vincent Scully, and Cesar Pelli. With a commission for a high-rise condominium in Quito, Ecuador, Mr. Romney founded Arquitectonica in 1975, also designing and building The Atlantis, The Palace and The Imperial on Brickell Avenue in Miami, among many other projects.
In 1984, Mr. Romney he opened his own firm, Hervin Romney Architect, winning first prize in the Dade County Public Schools Centennial Competition as the first of numerous local, national, and international projects.
Mr. Romney taught at the FIU School of Design & Architecture for seven years. He has lectured to numerous Architecture Schools and professional associations both locally and nationally, as well as at the Ecole de Beaux Arts in Paris, Sci-Arc in Switzerland, the Royal Academies of Denmark and Sweden, the University of Toronto School of Architecture, the Colegio de Arquitectos de Ecuador, and others.
Edward Rojas
General Contractor and the LEED Consultant
Edward Rojas brings more than ten years of managerial, supervisory, and building code administration experience to RCYT. He has served in many capacities in the industry: as an employer, as an employee, and as a building inspector, encompassing a wide skill set, including: Construction operations management, supervision and coordination of field personnel, cost estimating, cost analysis, contract execution, contract administration, project close-out, quality control, building inspection, and construction consultation.
Mr. Rojas received his B.A. in Architecture from the University of Florida, and his M.S. in Construction Management from Florida International University.

Clara Del Sol, Office Manager
Clara Del Sol has over 30 years of managerial experience in a wide variety of fields, including construction, hospitality, law, and accounting. She joined RCYT after 12 years of running Ocean Blue Contractors, a family business, with responsibilities ranging from reception, office manager, human resources, and accounting to marketing, business development, and project management.
In the 80s, Ms. Del Sol had the unique opportunity to serve as the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (Hong Kong government), a position that ended only at the transition of Hong Kong from a British Colony to part of China.
