RCYT is in the process of building an art gallery and sales center in the up and coming Wynwood section of Miami’s Design District. Making its debut in late February, the center will be a showcase of our proto-type container dwellings. Features of the container home sales center include: Life sized walk-through container home models, complete with kitchen, full bath, and living room; renderings and models; emergency shelter walk-through models illustrating the prototype of container homes that can be immediately prepared and shipped; wide-screen TV monitors featuring virtual walk-throughs of every model; and a café, catering to the growing number of people who work in or visit Miami’s ever-expanding Design District.

RCYT’s first South Florida project will be built in “Historic Overtown.” This location is prime because of its proximity to downtown Miami and the Metrorail, and is an area with an underserved population. Buildings on properties in this location are eligible for grants and city funding. A completed housing project would provide many residents with modern, eco-friendly, LEED certified green homes at an extremely affordable price.
